Since Brand’s death, his personal belongings have been treated like unexploded ordinance. Someone has to check things out. The book research team found a brief reference “Visited Shadow Unkown” dated a few decades ago. The Trump research team believe they have identified a Trump corresponding to that location. Now a team needs to go there and find out what was so important to Brand and whether there is any threat to Amber. You volunteered or didn’t duck fast enough when asked.

Game 1/1: Aurellis (Not Edwardiana)
GM: Tim H
Cast: 6 + GM
System: ADRP with House Mods
Genre: Variable (I steal from everything)
Description:
This slot we will be returning to your normal scheduled service with a game based out of the real world (ish) of spring 2012. Or perhaps somewhere else entirely. It is a multiverse after all.
This description is going sound a lot like last years, because not THAT much time has rolled forwards since ACNI 24, where a thing was discovered in a place, and much was made less clear than it had been before :-). It has rolled round to spring 2012 game date now, and it’s difficult to keep track. Where actually IS South Worfordshire? And Emperor Charles III? WHat’s all that about?
Yep. Definitely difficult to keep track, in this long running campaign in the multiverse that goes wrong occasionally. Well worth knowing what is around that blind corner, before you turn.
Characters:
New characters will be created via a quiz. Returning players welcome (and encouraged!)
Players:
- Becca D
- George K
- Marieke K
- Pete M
- Rain D
- Richard C
- Tim H (GM)
Game 1/2: Excuse me, are we related?
GM: Stephen Q
Cast: 4-6 + GM
System: ADRPG
Genre: Investigation+
Description:
Set after the Patternfall war, King Random is concerned that there may be offspring of the royal family out there in shadow. This is not, in itself, a problem but Random’s worry is that one of them could become pattern aware and pose a threat to the pattern(s) or even Amber itself. So somebody needs to go and trek through shadow and find any of these missing family and deal with them appropriately. A task too trivial for any of his brothers or sisters but there several of his nieces and nephews knocking around the castle, getting in the way, eating expensive supplies, and occasionally causing mayhem on their forays into the city. Some of them will do. For returning players, there will be new scenarios.
Characters:
Characters are based on 100 points but must take pattern imprint so 50 points to spend. (After all, you are junior members of the family). Your parent may be any of the elder Amberites except for Corwin, Random, or Brand. Stuff is limited to +/- 5. Beyond that you are free to allocate points as you wish although it would be nice if your character had some of their parent’s characteristics.
Players:

Game 1/3: New Horizons – Exploration and Conquest
GM: Kevin D
Cast: 4-6
System: LoGaS
Genre: Invasion, Infiltration, War
Description:
Bastiano. The Empire Builder. You, yes you, are all loyal to the god-king and through him ultimately to his mission of expansion, growth and protection of the gossamer worlds and ultimately the claiming of Domains through right and by force in his name.
Through whichever means is appropriate, you have been provided with an icon and a time with instructions to prepare to depart immediately for Domain’s new and for service to the God-King. Undoubtedly you’ll not be alone but few may return and you desire the plaudits of success. Be prepared.
Characters:
You are an agent, maybe even a special agent, of the only true God-King of Gossamer and Shadow… and you have a particular set of skills.
- What do you look like? Pictures please.
- Why are you loyal to the God-King?
- Why were you summoned?
- What is your shtick? Your special skill? Everyone has an often jealously guarded specialty or two!
Characters should be constructed using 100 points. Returning players can have an extra 5pts of advancement.

Game 2/1: The Church of the Unicorn
GM: Avon B
Cast: 3-6 + GM
System: Not Important
Genre: Amber, Comedy
Description:
It’s a strange time for Amber. The Patternfall war is over, Random is about to be officially recognized as King (He’s already King, of course, but formal recognition matters in these things) and everywhere, everyone is trying to return to normal life, whatever that might mean in Amber and the Golden Circle. The Church of the Unicorn is in the grips of theological rapture over the actual Unicorn revealing itself to choose a new King and theological panic over the reality of Chaos and the Followers of the Serpent.
But none of that really matters to you. What’s important to you is that the The Church of the Unicorn’s Choir is going to be singing at King Random’s Coronation, and for some reason despite all of Amber settling down, you’re short a few tenors. The Xenephon Superiors have dispatched several members of the Choir, including you, to go find the ones who didn’t return to the fold, or corral (chorale?) some new ones; but either way, get them to the Church in time to sing.
NOTE: This is a repeat of the session that I ran at Ambercon US
Characters:
You will be playing a member of the Church of the Unicorn Choir, sent to get a Tenor (or three) for the Coronation. The setting is Amber, but I make no promises to canon, and expect it to be far sillier than serious. You do not actually need to know how to sing.
Please come up with a Character Name and your position in the Choir. There are no stats, but if you’re feeling very ambitious, come up with a positive trait (like good at organizing, or making friends) and a negative trait (like gets lost easily, or likes being the centre of attention)
Players:
- Avon B (GM)
- Brennen W

Thursday – Slot 4 (UK Evening/US Morning)
(7pm – Late GMT)
Game 4/1: The Helgram Game
GM: Trish H
Cast: 5-6+GM
System: ADRPG with a twist.
Genre: Investigation
Description:
The Helgram Game is a mission-style team-based game set in primarily in the Black Zone, based out of the Helgram Zócalo, the major area of “civilisation” in its particular region of the Black Zone. The Zócalo is a base and port of call for traders, refugees, businessmen, diplomats and travellers from a hundred Shadows. Pretty much anything you might care to buy is available in the Zócalo somewhere, and it’s often wisest not to ask where it came from.
The first series happened as written, ending with the War Between the Powers. In the years that immediately followed, Amber occupied the Courts until a peace could be brokered between them. This was achieved about three years later, and was made possible because, much to everyone’s surprise, King Swayvill and King Random get along.
Characters are Members in Good Standing of House Helgram, on their first posting for the House, The PCs work for Duke Jowan, the Helgram Representative in the Black Zone, based in the Zócalo. They may occasionally be asked to undertake tasks back in the House proper, or the Courts, but the focus of the game is the Black Zone. This is a team-centred game, not one for lone wolves.
Characters:
Characters will have been born either in the last days of the Bleys as Grand Duke or since Ian Cushing-Helgram became Grand Duke. They will be no older than 40, and probably somewhat younger than that. Characters are built on 65pt with the basics of shape shift (inherent crisis management plus the basic four forms), or 75pt without, and need to be created before the con. All stats start at Chaos. Full character creation rules can be found here: https://helgramgame.org/character-creation/.
The game will be played on the Aurellis-Sable Discord server. Invites will be sent to those players who are in the game.
On this occasion, preference will be given to returning characters from the ACNI 2024 game, as this is a continuation of that game. However, if not all the ACNI 2024 players sign up, there will be space for others to join this game.

Game 4/2: Meanwhile… you are Cordially Invited
GM: Avon B
Cast: 3-6+GM
System: Meanwhile….
Genre: Amber
Description:
“It’s been a little over a year since your Cousin Denis left Amber to get out from King Oberon’s sight (and ire), so it may be a surprise to hear from her so soon, given some of the rumours. “”Hey,”” she says, “”I know I may not be the best person to associate with right now, but…I think I need some help with my Mom. How’d you like to help me make sure she lives through her wedding?”
It is more than 2 centuries since Queen Paulette’s unfortunate end. King Oberon is on the throne, and shows no inclination to take another wife yet. Family tensions are rising, but other than Eric and Corwin, no one’s at each other’s throats yet.
Characters:
Meanwhile… is a shared world, currently working its way toward the Corwin Chronicles, currently about 8 centuries away. We are intending to produce a companion campaign, trying to contradict as little as possible of the first Amber series. Meanwhile.. is an episodic campaign, and no one is expected to be at every session, especially since they run at most any Ambercon. But characters should fit the power-level and story of the Corwin Chronicles as we approach them. New players will have to contact Stormy at godbossman@gmail.com to get their characters set up for the campaign, as the system in use is his own shaky creation.

Game 4/3: By Fire And Moonlight
GM: Richard C
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: Narrative
Genre: Mystery. Maybe a little bit of Horror. Then, probably, turning quite messy. You’ve seen Aliens, right? Well, only a bit like that.
Description:
You find yourself waking up in a hospital bed, in a medical facility? Laboratory? ….IV drips in your arms, machines whirring and beeping in the sterile gloom. A chill menace flutters at the edge of your senses like a bird trapped behind glass. You feel….different. What happened to you?
The last thing you remember is the smoke, choking and burning in your lungs, the blackness closing in, blood pounding in your chest like fire. And then…this.
Characters:
Characters will be human (as far as they’re aware) dwellers of this Shadow Earth, living in a very close future present. They have somehow been caught up in the emergency response to the ongoing volcanic activity crisis in Iceland, as the eruptions continue and spread. They might be disaster response specialists brought in to help, doctors, engineers, even special forces personnel (why are governments sending special forces in to a disaster zone?….). Or they may be tourists, caught up in the disaster, trapped before they could get off the island to safety. I’m looking for a narrative description of the character, appearance, physical health and status, history, likes, dislikes, noteworthy skills, that kind of thing. A basic photo image would be great, also. No points.
Oh, one other thing. There is something unusual about each of these characters. Something that sets them apart from their peers, something they don’t talk about. Nothing out and out magical or completely outlandish, just something a little strange. You decide, and we’ll talk about it.

Game 6/1: Years have passed since they departed
GM: Edith B
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: Rules light system defined by PC characteristics
Genre: Investigation/Human interest-ish…
Description:
You are a resident of Amber City. You have lived through the attacks from Chaos. You survived the terrible storm the night the King died. You witnessed Oberon’s funeral cortège departing. Most of the royal family were not there to see it, they had already ridden out from the city into the beyond – to take the war back to Chaos, rumour said. They have not returned.
Only Gérard remains. Regent on the dead king’s throne. Peace has returned, slowly, in the time since. And normality, of a sort. But the city and its citizens remain marked by the events of seven years ago. With a troubled populace, and a threadbare City Watch, small community networks and groups have sprung up – keeping an eye out for trouble, linking those willing and able to help with those in need, or simply providing mutual companionship and understanding. Their shapes and forms vary, but they have become part of the fabric of the city.

Game 6/2: The Baron and the Lady [An Invisible Library Game]
GM: Jason P
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: Diceless
Genre: Investigation
Description:
You are all instructed to convene at the earliest opportunity and travel to world G-048, and meet up with one Abigail Hunter, your contact and our Librarian in residence there. I trust that the Librarians among the group can make the necessary arrangements. Miss Hunter will provide the briefing upon your arrival and be able to provide resources to some degree.
I will make available the latest world summary report of G-048 and caution is advised as the World itself is potential quite dangerous if you should wander too far off the beaten path. I am led to believe that this mission has potentially a diplomatic slant, so as always, you are all expected to adhere to the traditions and expectations of the Library.
Regards,
Shalken, Senior Librarian
Characters:
Players can be apprentices or the Librarians responsible for them. In order to play a credible Librarian, you need to have at least read the first book in Invisible Library series by Genevieve Cogman and understand the concept of the Language.
No points or system to worry about, although you need to provide details of your character via a submitted background, answering a few questions. More game notes shall be provided once players have been allocated.

Game 7/2: Aurellis (Edwardiana)
GM: Tim H
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: ADRP with House Mods
Genre: Variable (I steal from everything)
Description:
In the great Aurellis multiverse, there is a Realm called Edwardiana, which some players already have characters with connections to. This game will take place here, and players will need characters that would be there, or might get called in. Which might mean launching a new character for some. That’s OK. Lots of people have more than one character in Aurellis.
Edwardiana is poised in the late winter / early spring of 1911. King Edward VII has just died, and George V now rules. But he hasn’t been crowned yet – that won’t happen until the summer. It is a world where the tech level is appropriate to the calendar date, though perhaps that is not fixed.
Europe is much as Europe was in that time. However, America is not. A multi-shadow group called the Federation of American State are currently in the middle of a pitched battle with a bunch of allied European nations for America. Canada, some of the East coast, Florida, some of the Gulf of Mexico, some of the Pacific NW, and some of California have been liberated by European forces. The Feds hold the rest.
The game will be initially based out of London, United Kingdom. At this point in time, It is not the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, because in real life, that doesn’t happen until 1919-1921. It’s the United Kingdom. God Bless King George.
All the normal rules for Aurellis as regards Powers, and character creation will apply. If I need to send out the quiz, I’ll edit it for an Edwardiana background.
Aurellis (Edwariana) con games started at ACNI this year, and I’m hoping to keep doing one at cons I’m attending going forwards. So this will be the second one.
Characters:
New characters will be created via a quiz. Returning players welcome (and encouraged!)

Game 7/3: Fly High, Blandings!
GM: Mel M
Cast: 5-6+GMs
System: Homebrew
Genre: Amber meets PG Wodehouse. And Nothing Will Be the Same Again
Description:
Uncle Julian has had an idea for a money-making scheme … he’ll open a Flying School at Marchwood Manor! After all, flying can’t be THAT difficult – various of his nieces, like Dolly and Ronnie (Veronica, daughter of Gerard – currently in Australia) can fly the bally things, so it shouldn’t be too hard. And some of the chaps can probably fly as well – or else they’ll soon pick it up.
In short … what could possibly go wrong?
Characters:
100 point characters. Stats are Eccentricity, Sport, Tenacity and Money – all will be explained for any new players. The characters are children of the Blandings version of Amberites (except that Fiona and Flora are Aunts). Mirelle and Random Threepwood are too young to have adult children, so also out. Players will also have a special free skill for this game – this time it should be loosely related to aviation in the 1920s. Can players also remind me if they ALREADY have skills that could be useful.

Game 7/4: An Rioghachd Loisgte
GM: Richard C
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: Narrative. Tenuously related to ADRPG
Genre: Political intrigue. Swashbuckling. Forbidden romance. Well, maybe.
Description:
In the years that have followed Patternfall, a watchful, arms-length peace has held between the Great Kingdoms, Amber, Lys and Chaos. But now, with reavers from the Black Zone marauding as far as Ygg, the Regent of Thelbane has formally requested assistance from their cousin Amber, to restore (or impose) order, beyond the Abyss. Wary of his grip on his siblings, His Majesty King Random has summoned their children, his nieces and nephews, to constitute an embassy that will be sent to Chaos. The watchful peace hangs in the balance….
Characters:
Characters will be sons and daughters of the Children of Oberon. They may well have played a supporting role during Patternfall, just not one that was visible to Corwin. Some parents are not available: Corwin, Benedict, and Random.
Characters are not created using points. I want a description of the character, including personality, temperament, physical appearance, and history (history generation, ideally, will be a collaborative exercise with the GM, if you catch me ahead of time. Photo images also welcomed, for Trump creation purposes). Three attributes need placing in order, 1st, 2nd and 3rd: Will, Might and Stamina. Might and physical build will be related. Each character will be Particularly Good at something (if it’s Fighting, that will be a crowded field, in the Royal Family. But if you want to go toe to toe with the Family’s serious bruisers, you’ll need to choose that). Otherwise, there may be a number of things that a character is Good at, depending on their background and history. Generally, the longer they’ve been around, the more things they might be Good at. Exactly how characters compare to near-peers will be a function of their history and descriptions.
In terms of Powers, there is Pattern, the ability to walk between worlds; Shapeshifting; and Magic. There’s also Trump, the power to create and use the Great Tarot (although that might be a form of Magic). No Advanced Powers, Pattern Lenses or other silliness. Tell me what you think your character can do, and – most importantly – why: powers, and how they work, are individual to each character. Things work as they do in the First Series. Magic does not have Rules.

GM: Drew W
Cast: 5-6+GM

Amber’s history is full of events mentioned buy indistinct. Great events lie buried by the events better known. Sometimes these events return. Perhaps such a return can shake the foundations of and Empire or Two.
You are Children of the Oldest Children of Oberon. You have been trapped in a shadow set aside for eons. But as the Moon rises, gibbous, and full of portent, you prison is opened. What is this Amber your parents fought against and payed the final costs against? Will Amber accept you? Will you accept Amber? What of the Land of the Serpent? Will it fare differently?
Characters will be Children of Osric, Finndo, Benedict, and perhaps unnamed others. They have been sealed in an extremely slow time shadow, until the rising of a particular moon.
This game will explore what they find and do in Amber late in the reign of Random.

Game 8/2: Leverage International- The Cheerleader Job
GM: Amanda R
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: Keys System by James Arnoldi
Genre: Mystery, Investigation, Heist
Description:
You are one of them. Maybe a little bit of all of them. But you also aren’t alone. You and your compatriots pick up where the law left off. Using your special skills and a whole lot of imagination, your team knows how to provide… Leverage.
You are part of a team for “Leverage International.” In fact, you were personally picked to help carry on the banner by a member of the original team. While familiarity with the Leverage TV show is helpful, it isn’t a must. I do hope to use a lot of the tropes from the show, however, like flashbacks, twists and things going pear-shaped.
This game is “filling in” for Amber D’s usual Leverage game. If you’ve played in one of Amber’s Leverage games in the past, you are welcome to bring the same character, but understand that you’ll need to provide full details of the character to me, because I’m not Amber and don’t have access to her notes.
Characters:
I run a little more free-form on character creation than Amber does, but in the interest of keeping characters compatible with her games I’ll be using the same system and general character background. That means:
- I will be using @James A’s Key System for character creation and the running of the game. This is a very rules light system with a lot of adaptability.
- Think about which original Team Leverage member you’d like to have been the one that recruited you. If you aren’t familiar with them, let me know and I can help you figure it out.
- You’re welcome to bring a character that has played in one of Amber’s previous games.

Game 8/3: The Amber Sword at World’s End
GM: Richard D
Cast: 3-6+GM
System: Amberway (Amber Powers/ Everway mechanics)
Genre: Investigation, Mystery
Description:
Far to the north is the frozen isle of World’s End. It marks the end of what is known; beyond it lies nothing but darkness and terror. It is said to be the lynchpin holding the cosmos in balance and the resting place of the Artifacts of Creation: The Ring of Primordial Fire, The Crystal of Time, The World Tree, and the Amber Sword.
Until recently, no one in the family of Amber had ever heard of this legend. Lately, it is everywhere: sailors and storytellers share the tale like an old favorite, scholars discover new references to the ancient saga, and even in shadow echoes of this place filter down to wherever you travel.
Is this yet another secret come bobbing to the surface without the anchor of Oberon to weigh it down? What else could it be? A summons for the worthy? A lure for the gullible? From the crow’s nest of your ship comes the cry of “Land ho!”. Time to find out.

Game 9/1: Some are more elder than others (Big Brother Saga)
GM: Jason P
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: ADRP (slightly tweaked)
Genre: War
Description:
Benedict, the oldest surviving child of Oberon, the sworn defender to the Throne of Amber, and one of the best warriors in the entirety of the Shadow and beyond, so appalled by the constant bickering and schemes of his younger siblings and how they kept risking the Throne itself, simply lost patience with every one of them. He would do something that he had sworn he would never do, take control of Amber.
Being a man of few words, he announced his coup when he took Random’s head off in front of a packed throne room. Then with frightening military efficiency, Benedict’s forces soon took control of the Castle, the City, the Golden Circle and beyond and now, he rules with a cold logic and ruthlessness worthy of any military dictator.
Only in the days of Benedict’s coup, was the true strength and extent of his forces realised and among them are the feared Order of the Unicorn, his elite and highly trained troops with whose goal is to root out and destroy any resistance, and this includes you.
The group has continued to build on previous successes and notable gains. More needs to be done though and certain questions require answers, particularly what exactly caused Benedict’s actions.
The game takes place after the events of the Merlin Series. Those believed dead at the end of the series are still persisting to give that impression.
Characters:
Characters are on the side of those who oppose Benedict and his regime, whether they are from the Court of Chaos, Corwin’s Parys, or children of Elder Amberites either looking for answers or revenge.

Game 9/2: The End of the World is only the Beginning Part 1
GM: Pete M
Cast: 6+GM
System: Mostly ADRP
Genre: Adventure/Investigation
Description:
After the time of the GodsWar, which ended with the destruction of the Golden City, and the Mad god of magic casting down the City of Demons into the Abyss in retaliation, we now live in the age of Decay and Consequence, so the sages claim. In times past to cross into a differing shadow merely involved walking down the correct road, or travel on the right ship. Now there are no more shadow paths or seaways. For the vast majority all they can do is to wait for time to run out on their shadow and everything remaining to crumble into nothingness.
Many centuries or millennia ago as a result of the GodsWar lead to the disintegration of 99% of all shadow. (Mind you, 1% of an infinite value is still an infinite value.) All that is left is the few remaining shadows drifting about in a now expanded Abyss and even that (the Abyss) is showing signs of decay. Entering this Abyss is basically fatal.
There are no paths between shadow because there are no shadows adjacent to each other. The Pattern & the Logrus are both long destroyed. Trump still exists but as the driving power is now sorcery, it’s very weak (Trump, as far as I am concerned, is a skill not a power and is no more capable than that which drives it.) As a result Trump Artists are now seen as a subset of sorcerers with a range of a couple of shadows at best.
Shapeshift still works but on the majority of shadows in the aftermath of the fall of the Logrus resulted in almost all shapeshifters losing control and turning into homicidal creatures resulting in the majority of shadow dwellers now killing those appearing to have any shapeshift whatsoever.
Travel between the remaining shadows is accomplished by Voidcraft, which are basically shadows themselves but with size limitations, the smallest being the size of Bill & Ted’s Phone Box to the upper limit of the Death Star
Characters:
While this is a continuation and players from Part 1 get preferance, Part 2 does not need players to have been in Part 1.
Characters are old, at least a century or two if they have hung around in slow time shadows, potentially millennia old if in the fastest. (Fast time shadows also collapse into the Abyss faster so there are no shadows faster than about 10 times left.) and are still not old enough to have seen the GodsWar. So character question 1, how do you remain hale & hearty as you no longer have access to the Pattern or the Logrus. (possibles, advanced transplant technology, some form of vampirism, magical rituals, lots of time in a Goa’uld sarcophagus, serial possession {Clones if you’re nice, kidnap victims if you’re not} etc.)
PC’s have 100 points to play with. Stats are the usual 4 plus stuff. Limits for stuff are -5 to, well, there isn’t a top limit as it will get used to acquire things/abilities/items during the game. Whatever you spend on stats at the start stays fixed.
Powers, there is no Pattern or Logrus either. Magic (not sorcery) is 10 points but doesn’t work at all in about half of shadows, Trump is also 10 points but only works where Magic does. (My usual take on trump is it is a skill not a power and needs the Artist to have access to a power to create/power trump so you cannot buy it on it’s own.). Shapeshift works but then so does burning at the stake. Standard book cost. Power Words are just a flavour of Magic with the same limitations so let’s just combine them. Conjuration does not currently and never has existed. (No Shadow Knight abilities either.) Items, a single 4 point item and any number of lesser items

- Cancelled due to player numbers.
Game 9/3: Emergence
GM: Simone PM
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: ADRPG-ish
Genre: Investigation
Description:
You grew up in ignorance, in a quiet village somewhere, your powers suppressed.
Until puberty, when your powers found a way to make themselves known. Unfortunately, that meant that you were revealed, exposed to outside forces, and your guardians quickly whisked you away.
You, and others like you, spent the next few years at various temporary training camps, learning to use your powers, but often being taken to a new camp at short notice, “for your own safety”.
You’ve only been at this latest camp for a few days, but when you get up one morning something seems wrong.
Characters:
Step 1: Name and physical description
As a 16 year old, you have 10 points to spend on psyche, strength, endurance, warfare and weirdness. Describe your weirdness, it is how your power begins to show itself. How did you respond to it?
What are you good at? List three particular skills you have.
Step 2: A few years older, you have 20 more points to spend, and can add three more skills.
Describe your power.
All welcome, but anyone who played in last year’s (TirCon23) Chrysalis need only do Step 2.
Players:
- Gabriel P
- George K
- Simon C
- Simone PM (GM)

Game 9/4: Of Castles and Cults
GM: Ray H
Cast: 3-6+GM
System: Legends Walk Diceless
Genre: Mythological
Description:
There is a world beneath the one you know. A world of gods and mystery, a world of scions and titan spawn. A world where picking up the wrong sword can cause untold misery or profound joy and excitement.
You all work for Section 13 of SATT who regulate the secrets of the otherworld and keep the mortals from finding out just who lives next door. And your boss…. well he appears in most history books but won’t tell you his real name. He’s sending you to investigate something odd that is happening at Bolsover Castle
New and old players welcome!
Characters:
I will send out an email with examples of characters to all players, but the basics are that you choose a word or phrase to act as a stat that shows how good you are at x y or z.
You get 4 of those and then you choose a negative phrase as well.
So someone might be ‘Skilled with any blade they can lay their hand on’, ‘a blacksmith of notoriety’ and ‘has a glass jaw’
You also will need to choose which Goddess or God is your sponsor to work with SATT. They can be your parent or your patron and I will need a few sentences explaining their relationship to you.
For example
My mother is Hathor, and she doesn’t trust that Lancelot du Lac will not start another war with the Titans if he sees them doing something wrong and she has sent me to work for SATT so that I can be a peace maker.
Shouldn’t hit many dark themes but may have discussions of war, murder, human sacrifices in a mythological context.
Planning on using discord but may use zoom.

Genre: Family Interaction
Description:
“Hey, it’s me – Gerard. My millennial party is coming up soon, and I’ve been so wrapped up in Rebma that I’ve fallen a little short. Could you help me out a bit? All I need is…”
It’s that time again, when an Amberite throws a party to celebrate their first millennium, and this time, it’s Gerard’s turn. It’s going to be a really big party over three days, held on or near the beach near Faiella-bionin. At least, that’s the plan – if you hold up your end.
Characters for this game should either be in the habit of taking Trump calls or be accessible in the vicinity of Amber. New characters are welcome – contact me before the Con to get a character ready.
It is more than 2 centuries since Queen Paulette’s unfortunate end. King Oberon is on the throne, and shows no inclination to take another wife yet. Family tensions are rising, but other than Eric and Corwin, no one’s at each other’s throats yet.
Characters:

We are intending to produce a companion campaign, trying to contradict as little as possible of the first Amber series. Game 11/1: The Amber Sword at World’s End
GM: Rich D
Characters:

Game 11/2: Badge Quest: River Side Story
GM: Amanda R
Cast: 3-6+GM
System: Paragraph System
Genre: Supernatural with Comedic tendencies
Description:
Players are pre-teens/early teens who comprise a troop of Brave Blossoms (i.e. Girl Scouts but gender-inclusive and lacking the legal issues of calling them Scouts) who are trying to sell cookies in their neighborhood, which has some supernatural elements they were probably not aware of until now.
The Riverside area of town has been plagued with a rash of on-land drownings that has the authorities baffled. Your parents have warned you against going there, but so have the parents of all the other Blossom troops, and that means that you’ll have a monopoly on cookie sales in the area. OBVIOUSLY you want to go there– how else is your troop going to win the Top Sales prize?
Characters:
We’ll be using the Paragraph system, in which you tell me a paragraph about your character and I reserve the right to ask questions, including “Why did you join the Brave Blossoms?”
There is a real system out there called Badge Quest that I’m riffing off of, but it uses dice and who needs that? The “official” Badge Quest is a horror game, but every game I’ve ever run has leaned towards humor so I’m not even going to pretend this one won’t go that way too.
Players:
- Amanda R (GM)
- Avon B
- Brennen W
- Lauren B

Game 11/3: Meanwhile… First Contact

Description:
In a shadow at the end of Rebma’s trade network, something strange is happening and the queen of Jirzai has asked Rebma for help. Rebma needs to success and better trade access to Jirzai.
The reports are disturbing. Uncanny people in diving suits are reported in the shadow’s distant corners. No one the Jirzains send to check into it returns. People are panicking and rumours are rife. Is it an alien invasion? Is it strange surface dwellers? Is it a magical feint to hide a real attack on the Pearl of Cities? The Jirzains don’t know, but they want Rebma to send a champion to check it out. Fortunately, Rebma has prepared for a problem like this, and chooses to send… you.

Game 13/1: Isekai! A Random Villains Rebirth and She Who Conjured Paradise
GM: Keith PM
Cast: 3-6+GM
System: ADRPG Isekai Rules
Genre: Isekai
Description:
“We bow to she who wears the crown;
Let the world shiver with dread.
Clad in winter’s whitest gown,
her snow enshrouds the dead.
Her fury sheds but frozen tears
as gray clouds issue forth.
Her wind across the wasteland shears,
bringing blizzards from the north.
Ice-kissed flowers caught mid-bloom,
beauty kept in all its grace.
Summer’s gone to its silent tomb,
stilling in her cold embrace.
All the world in winter’s white,
sheathed in sleet and ice.
Set upon never-ending night,
she conjures paradise.”
You had heard of that annoying trend in media, ISEKAI. Stories of a second chance in another reality. VRMMO’s were you are trapped in a death game or transferred to another world as your terrible gag alt character. Saga’s sung by the bards of great hero blessed by gods, penny novels to escape your mundane lives.
Yours were the great betrayals, murders, cruelty, evil deeds, and dastardly plots that were perfect in their execution. Yet no matter your plans and schemes you could never win. It was as if you had the odds stacked against you, even when you finally succeeded, victory was in your grasp – Yet something allowed your enemies to overcome the impossible. Just because you were considered the Villain and not the Protagonist.
How did you die? Was it a fatal sword blow in the heat of battle? Betrayed and stabbed in the back by those you once thought were your truest companions? Killed by your dearest Prince who sought to remove an unwanted fiancée? Pushed in front of a speeding train by a disgruntled minion? Struck down by a falling pot plant? Murdered by Truck-kun? Died to Madame guillotine? Poisoned by your one true love? Or do you sit beaten, alone, and in despair on the eve of your death?
Rejoice fallen one for your villainy had caught the attention of The First Cause, Heart of Infinity, Beloved of the Unicorn, Bane of Chaos, The Divine Souzou Nome. Well names are tricky when you are the Centre of All. SHE gave you a deal you couldn’t refuse (No matter what you said, because SHE was a little jealous of all the fun Ghost Wheel was having) to be reborn again in a world of swords and sorcery. Or Reincarnation, Transferral, Summoned, or Transmigrated. Its all good. Oh and SHE gave you a System.
Hurry up and choose you attributes, affinities, skills, and cheats and stuff!
There is however a few small issues (well you’re pretty sure there are dozens of plot holes and inconsistencies) you don’t know what SHE wants you to do. Did you get the build you wanted, SHE did threaten to hit Randomise. What was that parting comment Cuteness is Justice! The System has seemed sulky, spiteful and badly implemented. As you consciousness fails you hear HER mumble terrifying things.

GM: Richard D
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: Meanwhile Homebrew
Genre: Social, maybe Mystery
Description:
This game is part of Meanwhile…, a shared-world convention game that leads up to the Corwin Chronicles over the course of a decade. In this episode of Meanwhile, approximately 750 years before Patternfall, you have received an invitation from your cousin Aidan to attend a festival in his shadow Catania. It reads as follows:
Cousin:
I invite you to Catania to attend our yearly festival in celebration of the creative spirit. There will be art and invention, fine food and revelry. Whatever their craft, the best will be provided for all to enjoy.
You are welcome to attend simply as my guest but I would ask your help with a project of mine. It is my intention to introduce Catania to the wider community of Shadow. I have explained what can be found out there and they nod their heads and say they understand but I do not think they do. I want to prepare them for what may come.
So, I invite you not only to enjoy the fair but to become part of it. Bring artisans from shadow lands to show my people the spectrum of what shadow holds. Bring wonders. Bring beauty. Bring just a little bit of menace and disquiet. Help me ease them into these new worlds.

Game 13/4: Thrilling Tales of the Dark Warp
GM: James A
Cast: 3-6+GM
System: Key System
Genre: Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror
Description:
The year is 2471. It has been three years since the test of a new FTL drive that would warp space to improve travel time had an unexpected consequence. It broke the barrier between our universe and another universe….one in which magic and sorcery were common and technology was unreliable. Now, the DAW Star Corps has a new challenge to keeping peace in the Democratic Alliance of Worlds. Magic has been reawakened and creatures of legend come to our universe. Even old threats, like the Cron Hegemony have a new added menace as old enemies learn to utilize the power of magic. Thankfully, magic isn’t truly new.
Some ancient orders kept the teachings of the old ways and in those old practices are the secrets to unlocking the potential that came….from the Dark Warp. With new advisors assigned to the SCS Protector, the highly trained officers of the Star Corps will need all the magical help they can get to unravel the mystery of the Sundered Worlds. This game is set in the early days of the Dark Warp Setting, a setting I’ve been developing that is a space opera setting with elements of Star Wars, Star Trek, and The Lensmen.
Let’s take to the stars!

Players:
- Amanda R (GM)
- Avon B
- Brennen W
- Darrel H

Game 16/1: Meanwhile … a little power in the wrong hands
GM: Simone PM
Cast: 4-6+GM
System: Homebrew
Genre: Investigation
Description:
Your cousin Rose has been away from Amber quite a lot these last few years.
She has a reputation for finding trouble, so it’s no surprise when she calls you looking like she’s been in a fight and asks for your assistance.
This scenario exists within the shared world of Meanwhile…
It’s 742 years pre-Patternfall. King Oberon is on the throne, and everyone has sworn an Oath to Amber’s Crown.
Secrets exposed in Corwin’s Chronicles are still secrets. Amber is once again at relative peace, and is the centre of Reality.
Characters:
The desire is to establish a shared world with players who may also GM a session or two as the campaign progresses, focused on some part of their own character’s impact or legacy.
Characters must be set up before game, so you will be contacting Stormy ahead of time. Meanwhile… intends to produce the Corwin Chronicles as written when we get there, some 8 RL years hence. Characters must be less than a millennium old and fit into Roger Zelazny’s style, and with Oberon in power, anyone older than 40 Amber time devotes half their time to doing something for Amber. There is a quiz, and a homebrew system. Once players are identified, they will be provided with character sheets and links to the Google folder and Discord server for Meanwhile..
Players:
- Avon B
- Ginger S
- Guy A
- Michael C
- Simone PM (GM)

Game 16/2: On His Majesty’s Secret Service
GM: Kevin D
Cast: 3-6+GM
System: ADRPG+
Genre: Spy Games
Description:
“Far up, Far out, Far more!”
You were hand picked for the King’s Secret Service. The Aureate. Which King you might ask? Well, there really is only one King worth serving: His Imperial Majesty, Mandor I. The only problem… actually, let’s not kid ourselves, there’s a whole host of problems….
<As this is a living world, the problems will be added closer to the convention!>
Did I miss anything important? The list could continue on indefinitely but we don’t have time for more. You’ve been summoned and you’d better not keep the King waiting.
Characters:
You’re a loyal agent, maybe even a special agent, of the only true King of Chaos and all shadow… and you have a particular set of skills.
- What do you look like? Pictures please.
- Why are you loyal to the King?
- Why were you summoned?
- What is your schtick? Your special skill? Everyone has an often jealously guarded speciality or two!
Characters should be constructed using 250 points. Returning players can have an extra 5pts of advancement.
As Chaosians, Power Words, Sorcery, Logrus and Shapeshifting are common. Trump Artistry is available though less common. Conjuration is simply a time consuming application of the former abilities. Demons are Chaosians too and you can choose to play one. The King is very likely to have contracted you, bound you or otherwise brought you into his service. Construct creation is a particular pleasure of the King. If you want to play one, he is very likely to have made you, brought you to life or otherwise created you. Pattern, while existing, is not available. Broken Pattern is, should you wish to embrace the utter madness of it. If there’s another power you want, speak to me and I’ll cost it.
Players:
- Alan W
- Brennen W
- Dave C
- Keith PM
- Kevin D (GM)
- Rob W
- Scott S
Backup Games
For GMs kind enough to offer ‘extra’ games even though they would prefer to be playing!
Game B/1: Bxxxxxd Club: The Time of Your Life
GM: Matthew B
Cast: 3-4+GM
System: We Live In The Shadows (Homebrew)
Genre: Murder Investigation / Horror
Description:
Lets start with the basics. One in two of Oberon’s children failed to walk the pattern, although he claims not, one in four of his children’s children. Do you want those odds? Do your parents? Of course it’s not as simple as that, Oberon regarded the Pattern as the check of being a family member, and checked any who claimed it, especially those were born out of the arranged marriages he unified the Golden Circle Kingdoms with. So the claim that Amberites don’t have children, its a claim, not a well founded one unless you count the same way Oberon does. Your Amberite Uncle who is fond of your mother? He’s not going to want to lose his favourite nephew in a one in four chance of exploding in agonising, soul destroying death.
Mind you Amber has always needed administrators, cooks, bakers, spies, bureaucrats, investigators, tailors, guard, and other reliable officers. We live a full ten score or more, rather than the typical three score and ten, we live to see our family die, our grand children and nephews rise. Quietly and behind the scenes we run the city, its trade, its commerce. We check out ambassadors, and emissaries, we keep the church of the unicorn in check, and we make sure that when one of the family wants something it is provided. All in all to protect each other, our families, and Amber. The most the family know about us is the occasional word in the ear of an Elder to point out the young persons potential relationship to the family.
All of this is arranged quietly from the Club, a small building with unassuming luxury, hidden between the merchant and noble quarters. An establishment arranged for us, with some funds, by the first of us. Marked by the heraldry of the city, a unicorn on a field of azure with a crimson band sinister crossing it.
Characters:
We will be using “We Live In The Shadows” for character generation (A link will be put up with the system document). The basic plot is one of murder and it could get quite grisly in descriptions and motivations.
Game B/2: Amber Telenovella: Paris
