Game 1/2: Leverage International – The Music City Job
GM: Amber D
Cast: 3-5
System: Key System
Description:
Hitter. Hacker. Grifter. Thief. Mastermind.
You are one of them. Maybe a little bit of all of them. But you also aren’t alone. You and your compatriots pick up where the law left off. Using your “”special”” skills and a whole lot of imagination, your team knows how to provide… Leverage.
Your team will be one of the first formed under “”Leverage International””, based in Nashville, TN. In fact, you were personally picked to help carry on the banner by a member of the original team. I will be creating the heist scenario based on the characters and background I get, but it probably will be taking place in Nashville (since it’s a city I know well!)
While familiarity with the Leverage TV show is helpful, it isn’t a must. I do hope to use a lot of the tropes from the show, however, like flashbacks, twists and things going pear-shaped.
Characters:
I will be sending full character creation details when player assignments come out. But here are a few things to keep in mind:
* I will be using James A’s Key System for character creation and the running of the game. This is a very rules light system with a lot of adaptability.
* Think about which original Team Leverage member you’d like to have been the one that recruited you. If you aren’t familiar with them, let me know and I can help you figure it out.
Players:
- Amber D (GM)
- Ginger S
- Mary A
- Richard D
- Ari M
- Avon B
Game 1/3: Travellers: Contact with the Past
GM: Anna J
Cast: 4-6
System: Homebrew
Description:
Do you remember the taste of the water? Recycled so many times it could never be made pure again? Do you remember the taste of metal in the air? The stink of 20,000 souls crammed into a shelter designed for half that number?”
By the year 2449, human civilization has all but collapsed and the survivors live in squalid, underground shelters, barely heated by failing nuclear reactors and survivors subsist on a diet of yeast and recycled water. The surviving humans are ruled by an advanced quantum artificial intelligence known only as the Director who has developed the ability to send data including messages, artificial intelligence, and even human consciousness – back in time via quantum entanglement. The only hope remaining for humanity is the Traveller programme – and you have volunteered to be a traveller, to go on a one-way trip back to the early 21st century and attempt to change the direction of the future. It will mean leaving behind everyone you know and love and if you succeed they will never have existed, but the chance of a brighter future – in fact any future – for humanity is a prize worth great sacrifice. You go through the training for many months and finally you and your team are ready for the transfer process. You have a plan, you’ve trained for this. The only thing is the travellers have a saying: no plan survives contact with the past…
Characters:
Please include in your character description what your life was like in 2449 – what drove you to become a Traveller, who did you leave behind, what special skills do you have that got you into the programme?
Players:
- Anna J (GM)
- Kevin D
- Pete M
- Andy R
- Stormy W
Game 1/4: Fedora Noir
GM: Fedora Noir
Cast: 3
System: Diceless collaborative story-telling game by Less Then Three Games
Description:
Fedora Noir is a collaborative role-playing game of corruption, loyalty, passion, and betrayal, told in the style of a film noir.
How far will the Detective go to solve the case? Can the Partner and the Flame be trusted? And what will the Hat think when it all goes sideways?
A cross between a roleplaying game and GM-less, collaborative story-telling. The players make the setting together, and using the prompts, guide the tale to it’s inevitable end.
Game takes 2 to 3 hours on average.
Characters:
No prep needed. Setting will be created or decided upon during the game. There are 4 roles: the Detective, the Partner, the Flame and the Hat. We’ll be playing on this Discord, using slides on Story Synth (link will be provided at game start, you don’t need anything for this except working internet. You don’t need to make any new accounts or provide your email, or anything like that).
Players:
- Marieke K (GM)

Thursday – Slot 2 (UK Morning)
(10am – 5pm GMT)
Game 2/1: Thread: The Continuation
GM: Kevin D
Cast: 3-6
System: ADRPG/LoGaS Stats
Description:
“The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills, and we are only the thread of the Pattern.” — Moiraine Damodred
Or so it was said in an age long past, an age where legends of the Dragon have faded to myth and myth long forgotten only, it is said, for the age that gave that birth to come again.
It was in that Age, an Age some called the Third Age, an Age yet to come, an Age long past that a wind rose on the peaks of the Dragon Mount
And a wind rose atop the Seat of the Dragon, a swirling chilly wind to blew down from the heights towards distant lands, unhindered by city, nation or land. The wind was not the beginning for neither are there beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time, but it is a beginning.
And so it began… desperate flight from a home beset by Trollocs, their meagre efforts nearly pointless in the face of the Dark One’s hordes. Still hunted, the group fled down a tunnel from the age of Legends and into the darkness.
Characters:
You’ve loved Wheel of Time, now’s your chance to become a potential Dragon Reborn!
Characters should be built using 55pts. Returning players gain an additional 5pts. Returning characters may provide character images for an extra 1-2pts and a diary/writeup for an extra 1-2pts.
0 points in a stat represent the average person. Selling down represents a weakness and you can sell down a variable number of points up to -10.
Stuff is limited to +/-5pts. It is a double-edged sword as the Dark One’s Own Luck (Positive Stuff) draws his attention!
Channelling needs to be purchased. Without training, it will be limited.
Items and Powers are available and will be costed based on their abilities by me. Let your imagination run wild! Returning players can only gain items during play.

- Kevin D (GM)
- Guy A
- Karen H

Game 2/2: Magical Kitties save Amber
GM: Andy R
Cast: 3-5
System: Magical Kitties Save the Day (set in Amber)
Description:
Deep in the cellars and dungeons of Amber there is something stirring, something that doesn’t belong, but only the cats of Amber are aware of it….
This game will use a slightly tweaked version of the Magical Kitties Save the Day rules (https://atlas-games.com/product_tables/AG3110) instead of the the ADRPG rules. It is a lightweight and easy system to learn so no advanced knowledge of the rules is required but as a warning to you diceless fanatics the rules do use a very light weight dice mechanic.
Note: This is a re-run of TirCon2021’s game
Characters:
Despite the grandeur of Amber and the power of the Royal family, Castle Amber is a Medieval Castle and like any castle has a rodent problem. The traditional way to deal with rodents are cats and Amber is no exception.
Player characters are all magical kitties living in Castle Amber. Full details of kitty creation will be provided after game allocations have been finalised, but pregen kitties will be available if players don’t want to create their own.

Game 3/2: Fedora Noir
Moved to Slot 1
Game 3/3: Grand Theft Dragon
GM: Dave C
Cast: 4-6
System: LoGaS
Description:
In the messy realms of Gossamer politics the power blocs are forming up. Great Souled Sam, Luke of the Tainted Eidolon, Vala of the Glaive and her assembled clique. All powerful and terrible in their own rights. And yet, still not what’s neeeded.
Subtlety, discretion, tact, these are all good terms to be used. Sometimes you work for one Lady another time a different Lord. It doesn’t matter as long as you get the job done and don’t fall foul of politics. This time though, this is the big score, the retirement fund, this time it’s a smash and grab but on a different scale.
Details are sketchy and the various blood pacts and binding agreements to even get spoken to slightly worrying. As they say in all the worst movies, shit is getting real.
Characters:
10 point characters. No more than 10 points in artefacts and creatures and stuff capped at +/-5. Please may I have a brief character with a rough idea of where you came from, what you care about and why you are working for Luke. All powers available at reduced costs (minimum 10pt spend) talk to me before game for details.
Background blurbs will be sent out once players are confirmed and game slots up on Discord.

Game 3/4: Burning Coal
GM: Vivek D
Cast: 4-6
System: Cinematic Diceless, explained in game summary
Description:
It is the turn of the 19th century: The great imperial powers vie for dominance, fuelled by coal and steered by the industrial combines and their brass-and-steel difference engines:
But not all their conflicts are played out in the open, by displays of military might or commercial conflicts – there are other, more shadowy arenas where the Great Game is also played.
At the heart of the British Empire we find The Ministry (it has a name, officially, on paper – but never speak it. It is always just The Ministry).
Home to the freak, the monster, the superhuman, the undead, the spy, the assassin and the mad scientist* and those simply… less trammeled by ordinary moral considerations.
This means you.
* The Society of Hypercognisant Artisans and Master Engineers prefers “Enlightened Engineer” over the vulgar and somewhat pejorative “Mad Scientist”.
Characters:
Players should pick an archetype or template to build their character on – Mad Scientist*, Monster, Super-spy, Werewolf, Golem, Demon-ridden Sorceress – feel free to plunder any and all of Pulp, Sci-Fi, Fantasy for an idea (or even come up with your own).
That’s who your character is. In addition there should be a reason the ministry would want to employ you some extraordinary ability, power or skill-set.
A reason you work for the ministry:
* They might have stayed your execution for a crime (real or framed)
* Maybe they pay you vast sums of money.
* Perhaps they are the only source of a drug you need.
* Possibly you’re just the right mix of patriotic and amoral that you want to.
One superhumanly strong stat or trait, eg:
* Strong / Agile / Dextrous / Strong-willed / Perceptive / etc
* 0 or more additional strengths, each balanced by a weakness, eg:
Weak / Aged / Clumsy / Weak-willed / Vulnerable to iron / Berserk / etc
To be clear – your first strength is free. Only additional ones must be paid for.
Players:
- Vivek D (GM)
- Tym N
- Anna J

Game 3/5: The Kruger Institute
GM: Esther vR
Cast: 4-6
System: Losely ADRPG, but no stats
Description:
The Krüger Institute is looking for PhD students, post docs, bio technicians and financial or HR managers for the BIRB project.
Project:
A 3-year project on Balanced and Ideal methods for Reproductivity and Biodiversity (the BIRB project) within the Biology & Genetics Department at the Krüger Institute, Düsseldorf, Germany, is looking for several motivated participants. The department is led by Simon Erben, co-discoverer Xz-Hegdehog, the first gene to be implicated in a adaptive brain disorder. The Institute adopts the latest innovations in molecular methods to discover how the genome helps a species to adapt to environmental changes, identifying genes that are important for development of structural adaptive capacity, behavioural modifications , and using those genes as a base to strengthen existing (endangered) species, as well as investigating evolutionary foundations. This involves interdisciplinary research at multiple levels, from determining molecular interactions and functional roles in embryonic cell models to assessing effects on structure and activity. We work together with leading researchers at the Mendell Institute for Evolution, Extinction and Adaptation and the University Medical Center in Berlin, and with extensive networks of expert collaborators around the world.
Job descriptions:
Scientific:
Through whole genome DNA sequencing, we have identified rare gene disruptions that cause morphological and structural impairments in several DNA samples of endangered or in species that are extinct. The successful candidates will lead specific projects within an ongoing research programme that investigates the bio evolutionary consequences of such gene disruptions (in Xz-Hedgehog, HIF1a, HIF2 among other genes). This programme adopts the latest cell-culture techniques (stem-cell derived 2D and 3D models), CRISPR/Cas-based gene editing, single-cell RNA sequencing, and other state-of-the-art methods. The work is carried out in a custom-built molecular biology laboratory at the Krüger Institute, which has its own cell-culture facilities, an advanced microfluidics system for high-throughput single-cell analyses, and dedicated histology and microscopy suites, including a confocal microscope with live cell-imaging capabilities. These resources are complemented by bioinformatic experts within the department, excellent in-house infrastructure for data analysis supported by a central technical group.
Administrative:
As HR manager you are responsible for the well-being of our personnel within the BIRB project.
As financial manager you are responsible for the money flow within the project.
Characters:
You were an applicant to this job offer and with success. You have been working there now for 6 months. I will need a description of your function and your background. You can play anything: from scientist to security guard or coffee lady. Additionally I will ask you questions. Before the game I will introduce you to each other on Discord, since you are co-workers and you know one another.

Game 3/6: Dracula and the Vampires of Osiris
GM: John D
Cast: 3-6
System: Simple custom diceless
Description:
London, England, 1971. The hippies say we are entering the Age of Aquarius, but some say
it is more like an Age of Dark Aquarius. They think there’s something dark, secret and
sinister about this new age. Your employer, the wealthy, eccentric, American, Mrs. Evelyn
Flaumel is one of those. You are employed as freelance specialists by an investigative
agency in London called Department F. A private agency formed by Mrs. Flaumel to
investigate strange cases in London that are too baffling for the minds of the police.
You are Department F, the solvers of impossible crimes, and maybe the last bulwark against the coming Age of Dark Aquarius.
….
Dracula is real? You want to laugh when the client says this but she is deathly earnest. Not only is he real but he has risen from the grave to wreak terror on London again. The clues point to Dracula taking an unhealthy interest in the British Museum, which is currently preparing for the arrival of the travelling Tutankhamen exhibition. The whole of London is eager for this exhibition to open. It’s going to be popular. The client is desperate for Department F to discover what evil plans Dracula has and stop them before it’s too late.
Dracula can’t actually be real, can he? Mrs. Flaumel apparently believes so as she has personally approved you to investigate further. Better stock up on the garlic.
NOTE: This game was originally run at ACUS 2022.

This game is in my Dark Aquarius series of games I’ve run at the virtual ACUS and ACNW cons. Zero knowledge of the other games is required and new players are welcome.
Character gen guidelines will be sent out before the con.
The game will be run over Zoom.

Game 3/7: Escape from Carnival Row
GM: Mel M
Cast: 4-6
System: Set in the Carnival Row Universe, this game will be Bespoke Diceless. You should download information about the Carnival Row setting here: https://nerdist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Carnival-Row-RPG.pdf, and/or watch the TV series on Amazon Prime. NB This is for background ONLY – I will supply simplified character creation rules.
Description:
Carnival Row offers a dark, fantastic world that calls back to the styles and social graces of Edwardian London, in a society still shakily recovering from a conflict that resembles European colonial wars — but with industrialized destruction that resembles World War I. Most games centre around the city of The Burgue, but this one is a little different.
Citizens of The Burgue for the Protection of Virtue have suddenly become a great deal more active – and the chief target of their ire seems to be the Tetterby Hotal – run by the faerie Madame Moira, who has recently turned the place into an upmarket place for salacious entertainment of many kinds. Madame Moira, concerned by this attention, has smuggled some of her girls out into the countryside (something strictly forbidden) under the escort of a few people that she trusts. They are staying in a manor house on the outskirts of a small, obscure village.
But other visitors arrive too … and there is something that seems to be not quite right …
NOTE: This is a repeat of ACNI2022
Characters:
You are someone involved in this. You can be a villager, or one of the Faerish that Made Moira has sent to safety … or one of the escorts. Come up with a proposal, and I’ll help you shape it. Returning and new players welcome.
We will be using Zoom or Discord to play this.

Game 4/1: The Endless Compact – Dream
GM: Richard D
Cast: 3-6
System: Amberway (Amber Powers/Everway mechanics)
Description:
“To Random, son of Oberon and Paulette, King of Amber, Defender of the Stair, Chosen of the Unicorn, I greet you as one monarch to another.
In accordance with the Compact forged by your ancestor Dworkin at the genesis of his Pattern, renewed by Oberon at the time of its repair, and witnessed by the Unicorn at both occasions, I exercise my right to call for aid from the Family Royal of Amber. I have sent forth my call in dreams and those suited for the task ahead will already be awaiting their summons. On the second day of the full moon, have them ascend the stairs to Tir and call upon me in my castle where I shall explain further. This letter will serve as their token of safe passage through my realm.
Dream of the Endless”
Random looks up from the letter and raises one hand to pinch his forehead. “Master Dworkin confirms that this Compact is real and so is the obligation.” He looks over the younger members of his family that arrived to tell him about their strange dreams. “It seems you have an appointment in Tir.”

Game 4/2: Meanwhile: In the shadow of the Sun God
GM: Larry B
Cast: 4-6
System: ADRPG
Description:
The Sun God, who has reigned for generations is gone, but society continues, awaiting the fulfilment of the prophesy and his return. There are some mysteries to be unravelled, and some possible connections to Oberon’s Royal family to be discovered, in this shadow out in the hinterlands, where it is an honour to be selected to train to be one of the God’s Soldiers.
Just another thread in the tapestry of Meanwhile…
This scenario exists within the shared world of Meanwhile…
It’s a thousand years pre-Patternfall. King Oberon is on the throne with his queen, Paulette. Mirelle was recently born. Random is an asthmatic, teen-aged hood. Everyone has sworn an Oath to Amber’s Crown, but not everyone works for the Crown. Secrets exposed in Corwin’s Chronicles are still secrets. Amber is at relative peace in many senses, and is the centre of Reality.
The desire is to establish a shared world with players who may also GM a session or two as the campaign progresses, focused on some part of their own character’s impact or legacy, like an introduction to a personal Shadow, an invitation to see your character compete in some Shadow sport, a call for aid in finding just the right present, and so forth. There is an overall structure (derivative of West Marches or the 1632 series) in place, some of which will be shared as other GMs step up.
Characters:
Character Quiz
How old is your character?
Who are your parents and what was your upbringing like?
How do you feel about your Oath to the Crown? About the King?
What do you think about the Pattern? About the Kingdom of Amber?
What does your official Trump look like?
Do you have any particular relations with any of Oberon’s children, good or bad?
Is there a place in Shadow you call your own and why?
What do you do on behalf of the Kingdom of Amber?
Character Creation document and the Character Sheet Template will be provided to prospective, new players. Returning players are strongly encouraged to continue with their existing characters. So the mechanics of character creation will be provided separately, before the Con, for new players.

Friday – Slot 5 (UK Morning)
(10am – 5pm GMT)
Game 5/1: Thicker than Water
GM: Edith B
Cast: 3-6
System: ADRPG
Theme: Nautical Adventure
Description:
Deaths in the family can make you reassess things.
A few months ago, Ambertime, Bleys took ship south in search of the mother he hadn’t seen in centuries. The last Fiona heard from him, he was nearing his destination, but she hasn’t been able to make Trump contact since. Pattern scrying hasn’t worked either.
She’s concerned.
Concerned enough to select and send a search party.
You are one of her chosen, one of those she has deemed trustworthy, competent and – a cynical person might say – dispensible.
Most importantly, it’s a jolly jaunt across the southern ocean to lands long forgotten. Almost as good as undiscovered, right?
Adventure calls!
The game is set at the end of the first five books, after the death of Oberon and Random’s accession to the throne. Being the product of my brain it’s set in the same version of Amber as “Beyond the Spires of Night” but is not designed to be a continuation game as such.
Characters:
Characters are next generation Amberites – ie grandchildren of Oberon, or equivalent. If you’re not a scion of Amber we’ll need to talk about what you have in mind and why Fiona has chosen to involve you.
You have 100pts to spend as you choose, with Pattern Imprint for free. You may use the ADRPG Main Rulebook and/or Shadowknight but Compelling is not permitted.
Stats operate a little differently from the standard rules. Warfare covers tactics, strategy and defensive fighting, while Strength is used for attacking, and physical capabilities, such as balance and co-ordination, as well as brute force.
Stuff is limited to 3 points either way.
Players will be asked to complete a short character questionnaire prior to the game.

Game 5/2: We Lost our Nuts
GM: Amber B
Cast: 2-6
System: ADRPG
Theme: Psychological, funny, light-hearted.
Description:
King Random and the other elders are very worried, alot of the newer generation children have vanished.
One of the problems is that many of the parents have not kept a close eye on their children. Or have kept their child a secret.
But with the returning now of some of the children who have been kept in shadow in mental hospitals, the reports are coming in of more children suddenly gone or unreachable.
Maybe a more active search would be needed to recover the lost sheep of the family. And you are called in to help.
Characters:
Returning players are welcome who have been in No nuts in the Nuthouse games. New players of course always welcome as well!
Character creation notes to follow later.

Game 5/3: The Adolf Before
GM: Pete M
Cast: 4-6
System: ADRPG & Homebrew
Description:
Continuation of “Tales of the Vienna Corpses”
Having survived your trip to the Schloss Adler, been sent on a few recon missions and generally living in what are called “interesting times”. During this your boss/sponsor/mentor/person in power with some idea of what is going on and willing to do something about it Mrs Cooper has been working to get the Council to do something The “Council” best described as a self-perpetuating autocratic anarcho-syndicalist commune in other words a lot of very powerful people who not only never agree with each other, but spend their time screwing with each other. The bad guys(you still haven’t got a name for them!) are meandering about taking over shadows while disguised as humans. The only good news is they can’t seem to conceive that humans can recognise each other by just looking at each other so spotting their agents is pretty easy. Your mission, this time is to bring one back alive for debriefing/interrogation/psychic disassembly/whatever. As the one you met in Vienna needed a subtle mix of 20mm cannon fire, multiple machine guns, repeated pounding with a church pew and multiple fireballs to kill it, this might not be the easiest thing.
Characters:
Pregenned Chars for new players plus 25 points , returning players get 10 points

Game 6/1: Contamination
GM: Simone PM
Cast: 3-6
System: ADRPG-ish
Description:
After Hiroshima, all nuclear weaponry was abandoned. Instead of a cold war, there was a much hotter one, and various bits of the planet were bombed back to the Stone Age. There has now been an uneasy peace for the last 20 years, mostly due to large amounts of rebuilding needing to be done. There are rumours that peace may not last much longer, and that mutated humans are roaming the wastelands.
Characters:
Characters are young adults who have been lucky enough to have grown up with a good education, wide-ranging opportunities for training and access to excellent healthcare. Most people are not so fortunate. Let’s hope you made good use of it. 20 points available. Powers: Probability manipulation 10 points, Communications 10 points, Disguise 5 points, Self-Healing 5 points. Stats: 10 point limit, 10 points makes you an Olympic athlete, chess grandmaster etc., 0 points is an average human, any higher than 3 points represents a significant investment of your time that should be reflected in your background. Stuff limit: 2 points. Good stuff could be a nifty item, bad stuff could be an outstanding warrant for your arrest, be creative.
More details will be available before the ‘con.
Note: This is a repeat of a game run at AmberCon UK 2009, and is not suitable for anyone who played in it or its sequel Decontamination (run in 2013).

Preference will be given to returning characters from any iteration of the Sable Game.

Game 6/3: The Man from A.M.B.E.R – The Artefact Auction Affair
GM: Jason P
Cast: 4-6
System: Modified ADRPG
Description:
Mr. Waverly sits at his desk in his rather well-appointed office, reading the summary of the report from his technical people as to the analysis of the mysterious stone artefacts recovered by one of his teams.
“The source and age of the objects can not be determined at this stage, but all them show the same properties. When a certain amount of electrical current is passed through them, they start to resonate Trump-like energy, with the amount of Trump energy produced increasing with increased voltage applied.. Exposure to this energy can cause disruption to mental processes to those close by, and death in extreme cases. Shadow integrity is also affected in a similar manner. ”
The old man puts down the report and picked up a photograph of a page of an auction catalogue displaying another of these artefact. “Yes, I need to send in a team to investigate what is happening here. We need answers.” he mutters to himself.
Mr. Waverly then picks up the phone with his spare hand, and firmly instructs “Open channel D!”

Description:
Baby Gerard has disappeared, and Julian who (theoretically) was supposed to be watching him, seems to be gone as well. It is just after the Ambassadors Ball that was scheduled to show off Baby Gerard (and Queen Rilga, to prove that the rumors that she died during childbirth are not true.) and now he is nowhere to be found. Oberon has tasked you (because of your skills, family relation, and discretion) to help find him, quietly and quickly, and hopefully without further incident.
Characters:
This is a Amber Court focused game, so only characters who would have not only been involved in the court of Amber at the time of Gerard’s birth, but also have standing with that court.
Appropriate children of Oberon characters, ambassadors to the court, or other appropriate Golden Circle Kingdom Royals desired as a character base. Basically those who have high standing in Oberon’s court during Rilga’s reign are preferred.

Game 6/7: We Are All Living in The Village
GM: John D
Cast: 3-6
System: Simple custom diceless
Description:
Dark Aquarius – We Are All Living in The Village
—
How does an entire village disappear? And not just any village but the famous Italianate tourist village of Portmeirion on the coast of north Wales that was made famous in the recent TV series, The Prisoner. And if it has disappeared, then how come nobody has noticed apart from Department F’s liaison in MI-5? Nobody is taking him seriously, though, as he has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital, raving about the Devil and the missing village. Nobody that is apart from Mrs. Flaumel who is sending you to north Wales to investigate the strange case of the missing Village.

Characters:
Characters will be pre-generated Lokis. I will provide all the players with a list of options to choose from. The various Lokis may or may not correspond to Lokis from the MCU or comics. (So please don’t get your hopes up that you will get a very specific Loki or powerset.)

Game 7/2: Journeys After the Black Road – The Honeyed Fortress
GM: Rich D
Cast: 3-6
System: Wanderhome with a splash of Amber
Description:
Wanderhome is a pastoral fantasy role-playing game about traveling animal-folk, the world they inhabit, and the way the seasons change. It is a game filled with grassy fields, mossy shrines, herds of chubby bumblebees, opossums in sundresses, salamanders with suspenders, starry night skies, and the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine.
You might be a tamarin who dances with small and forgotten gods, a leporine mail carrier who relies on moths to get packages where they belong, a little lizard with a big heart and a mysterious past, or a near-endless number of other thrilling possibilities. No matter what, we’re always travelers—animal-folk who go from village to village and get to see the length and breadth of all the world of Hæth. The seasons will change as we play, and we will change with them.
Though there is no violence in the lands of Hæth now, they did just come through a war. In this game, that war was The Black Road, and as we wander this peaceful land of animal-folk perhaps we will encounter the shadows and echoes of Amber and Chaos left behind
Moving on from the celebration of memories in Herder’s Gate, the travelers venture high into the Granite Mountains perhaps to catch a glimpse of the fabled Honeyed Fortress.
Characters:
If you are a returning player, you are encouraged to play your previous character. For new players, a quick start playkit can be found here: https://possumcreekgames.itch.io/wanderhome-playkit if you want to get a taste for the world and system. Game 7/4: The Thyatician Succession Crisis
GM: Larry B
Cast: 3-6
System: ADRPG
Description:
“The official position of the Throne of Amber is we do not take any opinion in the internal succession matters of a Golden Circle Power.”
This was, of course, a lie that Oberon said. One of many when he was King. But he publicly discouraged members of his court from being involved. Thyatis fought a war against Oberon in the early days of the Golden Circle. The defeat lead to this militaristic empire make a major effort to join the Golden Circle. Its military elites have sent sons and daughters to the houses of Amber. Many of its sons have bled in service of King Oberon.
Emperor Sigismund died.
He was ASSASINATED the rumours say. His death occurred before he named a successor and before the Imperial Senate was in session. Various factions in the empire have called in favours to prepare for the bloody resolution of the Imperial election.
The Kings of Kashfa and Deiga both have a favoured candidate. Queen Moire likely has a favoured candidate as well. It would stand to reason the Begman’s do as well.
Amber is by treaty required to defend the Golden Circle from external threats. But there is a possibility of ‘Brother King’ fighting against ‘Brother King’ if this crisis goes out of hand.
“So you see” Corwin Tells you ” Its obvious Father wants us to prevent this problem from getting worse.”
“So you see” Eric Tells you “Its obvious father wants us to prevent this problem from getting worse…..and to prevent Corwyn and Bleys from making this more difficult.”
“So.” Bleys says to you with a smile “How would it feel to have an empire that owes you a favour? An empire father holds some respect for? We just can’t get caught.”
Characters:
You play one of the Canon (or non canon) elders. Or one of the first known and acknowledged grandchildren of Oberon. There is a political crisis brewing in the golden circle. you mission is to solve it.
If you play a non Canon elder you need to answer an important question:
“Why aren’t you there for that whole mess with Corwin and Merlin later?”
250 points with free basic pattern.

Game 8/2: Pattern Room 101
GM: Jason P
Cast: 4-6
System: ADRPG with a few tweaks
Description:
Benedict, the oldest surviving child of Oberon, the sworn defender to the Throne of Amber, and one of the best warriors in the entirety of the Shadow and beyond, so appalled by the constant bickering and schemes of his younger siblings and how they kept risking the Throne itself, simply lost patience with every one of them. He would do something that he had sworn he would never do, take control of Amber.
Being a man of few words, he announced his coup when he took Random’s head off in front of a packed throne room. Then with frightening military efficiency, Benedict’s forces soon took control of the Castle, the City, the Golden Circle and beyond and now, he rules with a cold logic and ruthlessness worthy of any military dictator.
Only in the days of Benedict’s coup, was the true strength and extent of his forces realised and among them are the feared Order of the Unicorn, his elite and highly trained troops with whose goal is to root out and destroy any resistance, and this includes you.
Your group has managed to build on previous successes to score notable gains, including the recovery of some more allies to assist in the conflict, and imprisoning one of Benedict’s more powerful Lieutenants. More needs to be done though and certain questions require answers.
The game takes place after the events of the Merlin Series. Those believed dead at the end of the series are still persisting to give that impression
Characters:
Characters are on the side of those who oppose Benedict and his regime, whether they are from the Court of Chaos, Corwin’s Parys, or children of Elder Amberites either looking for answers or revenge. Game 8/4: Psi Run: The Chase is On!
GM: Jules D
Cast: 5
System:
Modern day superpowers/psionics. Set in the UK today (probably). Based on PsiRun rules from Night Sky Games (http://nightskygames.com/welcome/game/PsiRun)
Description:
Whoever’s after you, you know one thing: they will stop at nothing to capture you and you’ll stop at nothing to stay free. The holes in your memory vie for attention with your startling abilities. Stay one step ahead of the Chasers long enough to answer your questions, and hope your psychic powers don’t go wild.
They took your life.
You got away.
They want you back.
Run!
Characters:
You take on the role of Runners, characters with amazing psychic abilities – but little memory of their past life. You know that you can do some amazing things, and that’s why you’re being chased. If you’re caught, you will disappear forever and never have the chance to find out who you really are.
I will provide notes to allow characters to be generated before the con but you will discover who your character really is and what they’re capable of as the chase unfolds.

Game 9/1: The Helgram Game
GM: Trish H
Cast: 4-6
System: Modified ADRPG
Description:
Since time in memorium, House Helgram has run its own school to train the more gifted members of the somewhat extensive House (or at least, the ones whose parents don’t send them off into Shadow) in the various skills they’ll need to survive as active members of the Courts of Chaos.
The characters are recent graduates from the Academy, who are now being sent on their first assignments as full members of the House.
Characters:
Characters should be between 30 and 35 years of age, and built on 50pt with limited shapeshift; or 60pt without. No Pattern, Logrus, Constructs or High Compelling. Otherwise all powers as per ADRPG. And if you want to do something different – a sensitivity or innate ability, or perhaps a partial power, then talk to the GM. Returning characters have priority, so please make sure to note if you’re returning when signing up for the game.
You will need to decide what your character’s particular talent was, which led to them staying on at the Academy for advanced tuition: magic, conjuration, shapeshifting, other academic pursuits, or perhaps something more unusual – an innate skill or ability that developed all their own.
The Helgram game will be played on the Aurellis-Sable Discord server. Invites will be sent to those players who are in the game.

Game 9/6: Stop The Pigeon!
GM: Michael C
Cast: 3-6
System: Amberway
Description:

However, it’s important to me that I present the prize to Queen Vialle.” Bleys is at his most charming when he’s either giving or receiving favors. Tonight he’s calling in a very large marker that you owe him.
The Great Dragonisles Hunt is infamous: part race, part running battle, part contest of wits across the archipelago of Lotharingia. Fortunes and reputations will be made and lost in the Hunt. Merely surviving will become part of your legend.
Bleys continues: “Go to Lotharingia as a team and win. I don’t care how you do it. Everyone else will pull out all the stops, and so should you.” He grins. “If you need to, cheat. As long as you bring me the prize.”

Game 9/7: Star Wars: Jedi of the Outer Rim
GM: James A
Cast: 3-6
System: Key System (homebrew), Space Opera
Description:
Long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away….
It is a period of Civil War. The Jedi Order has almost completely been wiped out by the Empire. However, a small temple located far from the galactic center survives…..
Far from the shadows of Coruscant’s skyscrapers lies the dangerous Outer Rim. Far from the heart of the Empire, even the Jedi can remain hidden from those that would exterminate them. The monks of the Narma Uktal temple have done just that. On a planet far from the busier spaceways, they continue a path of the Jedi that many other sects have forgotten and they have stayed hidden by not getting involved. However, sometimes the hardest thing is to do nothing and sometimes walking the path of the Jedi means walking towards danger.
This game is set in the more lawless areas of the Star Wars universe during the Rebellion period. The game will use the KEY RPG System, my own homebrew. This is a series game with only light continuity between sessions to make it more welcome for new players. Players may create their own characters or take pregens. If you played a pregen last year, you may request the same character. Game will be run via Zoom.

GM will contact players with character creation rules and pregen descriptions.

Game 9/8: Inky Black Jones and the Temple of Amber
GM: Dave C
Cast: 3-5
System: Amber Mouseguard
Description:
There is something wrong in the lands of the Mus, something rotten like the state of Brandmark as is written in the the First Book of Corwin, the chapter of Laments and Siblings. Mus are going missing and rumours abound of terrible things in the dark corridors. Worse still Inky Black Jones, the intrepid Mus leader has not yet returned from the journey to the surface but a young Mus swears he saw his distinctive shadow some days ago. This and other gossip are stirring tensions in the land of the Mus.
You are one of a band of the Músnihtweard called in to investigate.
Characters:
Character gen rules (really light to be sent out once I have players).
Two attached docs – one is the written history of the Mus in two forms, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau being the preferred view of the followers of the Old Gods and Fugere Lucem that of the followers of the New Gods. Most Mus acknowledge both and just get on with things. The second doc is a background doc for the game with a rubbish map in it, I’ll try and do better. Read the Brief Guide first is my advice.

Game 10/2: Pen and Sword
GM: Drew W
Cast: 2-6
System: Diceless ‘Freeform’ – Investigative
Description:
You have awakened. You and your fellows stand or sit at the center of a vast hall. Polished wood shelves hold uncountable volumes of written word, polished marble makes up floor, ceiling and walls painted and inlaid with another lifetime’s worth of diagrams, symbols, charts, and other images. Multi-paned glass lamps hover about the room giving off warm and full light. From behind a tiny podium upon a dark mahogany table a voice speaks; full and warm, and practiced at speaking. “Welcome travelers, children, and otherwise. I am sure you have questions.”
This is a game of discovery, investigation and development. In time two phrases will battle for supremacy. “All is not as it seems”, and “Not all is as it seems.”
Characters:
Characters will be developed on three basic pieces, and the option of a few additional bits.
1. Choose a fictional character. The more obscure you make it, the more difficult it will be for the GM to properly understand your goals.
2. Choose a historical character. (see above).
These two are your parents. Matters of time and distance are yours to resolve. Submit a few paragraphs describing your early life, the relationships of your parents to each other and you, and the locale and time you grew up in. You should be a teen/young adult or older at the start of the game.
3. Describe something that makes you ‘special’ – your fine deductive mind, your ability to understand any spoken word, your intuitive grasp of mechanics/physics, etc. Is this a ‘happy accident’ of your birth? A matter of study? Something trained by your parent(s), Intentional genetic manipulation?
4 and more..An image of your character, a song or poem which inspires the character or the story, other images or short stories that explain your past… these all can add to my understanding of your characters and the story, and will add to the game.
Bear in mind, that attempting to find two omnipotent beings as parents while interesting may detract rather than add to the game; and may not produce the result you strive for.

Game 10/3: The Free Republic of Ygg
GM: Ginger S
Cast: 3-6
System: Amberway (Everway + Amber crossover)
Description:
It is a time of dominion from the poles of reality, where the ends of the universe rule and the center is suppressed. King Martin rules in the ancient citadel of Amber, whence all Order comes; in Chaos, Emperor Merlin holds the Houses and their Ways in a deathgrip. The shadows between, lawful and chaotic, are ruled by the sea, air, and space lanes and the navies of the great powers. Only one realm offers refuge from the iron fists of the poles: the Free Republic of Ygg, led by the ancient wizard Tree and the Council of the Republic.
You are children of the thinnest blood, of the eighth and ninth generation of descent from Oberon, or the youngest heirs of the Ways, or perhaps merely heroes of Shadow with no royal blood at all. You have pledged your honour and fortune to the Free Republic. The Council has asked you to attend the festivities honouring the hundredth birthday of the Elector Palatine of the Portals to convince the Elector to keep the Portals and their valuable shadow-gates closed to Amber and Chaos. You’ll contend with the emissaries of Martin and Merlin, the politics of the Palatinate, and any other interested parties who may want the Portals opened or closed for their own purposes.

Game 11/1: The Silver Swan
GM: Karen H
Cast: 4-5
System: ADRPG
Description:
You are a newly minted family member. Fiona has called you to her rooms and given you a trump, telling you that you need to use it and that you are are needed for a secret mission. Amber’s future relies on your success. Once there, you are to join a specific tour. Once you’ve joined, more will be revealed….
Characters:
You are all great grandchildren of Oberon, you have walked the pattern, have a standard Trump deck, and know who’s who in the family. The story is set just after Brand fell into the Abyss but before Random’s coronation.
Your character needs to be familiar with the Shadow Earth approximating the current earth we live in today. Being multilingual will be useful languages. Languages such as Thari, English, French, German and Russian might come in handy but please include how you know these languages.
Note that as the King’s corination has yet to occur, you have not been introduced at court but you should include how you got to Amber, why you walk the pattern and who your parents are.
Your allegiance should be towards Amber.
With that in mind, please create a 100pt character in standard ADRPG with free Pattern.
Good stuff/bad stuff no more than 5pts on each.
Artefacts/creatures: you may take no more than 30pts on these but due to the setting need to be practical. For example, obviously large strange animals will be hard to hide!

Game 11/2: What happens in Asclepius….
GM: Ray H
Cast: 2-5
System: Legends Walk Diceless
Description:
The SATT team head to America to find the truth behind troubling rumours of experiments on Naga and Fenrir wolves.
————-
There is a world beneath the one you know. A world of gods and mystery, a world of scions and titan spawn. A world where picking up the wrong sword can cause untold misery or profound joy and excitement.
You all work for Section 13 of SATT who regulate the secrets of the otherworld and keep the mortals from finding out just who lives next door.
New and old players welcome!
Characters:
I will send out an email with examples of characters to all players, but the basics are that you choose a word or phrase to act as a stat that shows how good you are at x y or z.
You get 4 of those and then you choose a negative phrase as well.
So someone might be ‘Skilled with any blade they can lay their hand on’, ‘a blacksmith of notoriety’ and ‘has a glass jaw’
You also will need to choose which Goddess or God is your sponsor to work with SATT. They can be your parent or your patron and I will need a few sentences explaining their relationship to you.
For example
My mother is Hathor, and she doesn’t trust that Lancelot du Lac will not start another war with the Titans if he sees them doing something wrong and she has sent me to work for SATT so that I can be a peace maker.
Shouldn’t hit many dark themes but there may be discussions of war, murder, kidnapping, or medical experiments.
Planning on using discord but if discord plays up will move to zoom

Game 11/3: A Stormy Night in Amber
GM: Pete M
Cast: 4-6
System: ADRPG/LoGaS and homebrew with additional Discord notes.
Description:
It’s about 250 years after Patternfall. There are things in Shadow that have always been there. One of them is the Undying Storm. It’s a huge multi-shadow storm that meanders about the multiverse. While it has elements of Pattern, Logrus, and Sorcery, they are all too diffuse to be used as a power source for something. People have tried,. Mostly it’s just a big nasty storm that flounders ships at sea, blows down trees and de-houses two out of three pigs.
Usually the Undying Storm hits any particular shadow about once every 200-ish years, it last hit Amber between End of PatternFall and Random’s formal coronation. Normally it doesn’t hit Amber or the Golden Circle because there is someone with the Jewel to tell it to sod off, but Random & Vialle are on a state visit with the Jewel [You think Random trusts you lot with the Jewel?] to Argent and cannot get back soon enough. So you will just have to ride it out.
Gerald, as acting Regent has taken all reasonable precautions in the short time available to him, (he’s been through the storm a couple of times.) He is currently planning to hunker down in the Castle till it’s over, three to four days probably. Any Castle servant or official who wanted to go home has been allowed to. Currently the only people in the Castle are the garrison, and a very small skeleton household staff.
Characters:
100 points plus:
50 points of Pattern free (Basic Pattern as in the rules)
or
25 points of Pattern (Minimum Viable Pattern) & 25 points towards Basic Trump.
I’ll put up a doc with the partial powers on Discord at some point.
Also having Shapeshift will need explaining and no Logrus (All Logrus users died a century ago

Game 11/4: Blandings and the Swish of the Curtain
GM: Mel M
Cast: 5-6
System: Amber/Blandings crossover – special rules (a variant of the Gentlemen and Players rules, created by Timothy Ferguson) which will be provided.
Description:
There’s a family emergency that summons you to Blandings. A bad storm has damaged the roof of Blandings Parva VillageHall, the centre of communal activties in the village. It’s winter – not the time for such fund-raising events as a flower show or a village fete. Aunt Flora has determined that there needs to be a staged production to raise the necessary funds. But what form should it take? A pantomime (’tis the season – almost)? A musical? A farce? A Shakespearian play? In which field will your talents lie? Uncle Corwin is offering to supply chorus girls …
But what REALLY caused the damage to the roof of the village hall?
Characters:
100 point characters. Stats are Eccentricity, Sport, Tenacity and Money – all will be explained. The characters are children of the Blandings version of Amberites (except that Fiona and Flora are Aunts). Mirelle and Random Threepwood are too young to have adult children, so also out. Players will also have a special free skill for this game.

Game 11/5: The Sable Game

Game 12/2: One-Page Shenanigans
GM: Dawn V
Cast: 2-4
System: GM-provided one-page games
Description:
Have you ever wanted to imagine yourself trapped in a cabin with Lord Byron? Secretly in love with Lord Byron but you need to arrest him? One of the Bronte sisters in a battle for authorial supremacy? Or maybe, just maybe, a horrible goose?
Come play some RIDICULOUS one-page games. All you need is a d6 or two and your imagination!
Characters:
One-page games are mostly things this guy on Twitter wrote, mostly featuring luminaries of literature. But I’m going to write my own, too, involving horrible geese (in reference to the Untitled Goose Game). We’ll decide which one to play when we assemble. We will likely be able to play more than one. We’ll make up characters on the fly, roll some dice, and narrate what happens. You don’t really need to know anything about these games in advance, other than that they are silly and yet probably end in tragedy for your characters. Unless the dice are really in your favor. Or unless I make poor choices in writing my horrible goose version.
We will play on a GM-provided Zoom call.
Players:
- Dawn V (GM)
- Michael C
- Avon B

Game 12/3: Burning Coal
GM: Vivek D
* Strong / Agile / Dextrous / Strong-willed / Perceptive / etc
* 0 or more additional strengths, each balanced by a weakness, eg:
Weak / Aged / Clumsy / Weak-willed / Vulnerable to iron / Berserk / etc
To be clear – your first strength is free. Only additional ones must be paid for.

- Vivek D (GM)
- Anna J

Game 12/4: The Finndo Problem
GM: Dave C
Cast: 3-5
System: ADRPG
Description:
It’s that strange period just before the potential end of the Universe and the dawning reality that Gerard is on the throne as Regent pro tem. As one of the next generation Amberites or gifted shadow folk you are on Gerard’s list of people to get things done, and his arms are both long and extremely strong.
The long and the short of it is that some Begman Noble has been found rather dead, and dead in that odd, awkward to explain manner. He was found pinned by a spear to a wooden fence at the back of a ginell in one of the less than salubrious parts of town. Added to this well, that is one damn distinctive spear. A spear all in Unicorn Green and Gold, with a chunky haft and way too long and old of style for Oberon and that just leaves… ah, yes as we are now calling it, the Finndo Problem.
Characters:
10 point characters, no more than 4 points may be spent on any one artifact or creature – don’t buy shadows. Stuff capped at +/-5 points. Anything from Amber DRPG, Shadowknight come and talk to me prior to the game. Cannot buy down more than -10 (Chaos) on any one stat and no more than 20 points in total buy downs on stats, you can buy down in integers not just lumps of 10.
If you choose to be of the Amberite blood and are formally acknowledged (everyone will know your name and your real actual lineage and this gives you status) you get Pattern for free and a trump deck and are taught how to use trumps. The deck will include a Trump or yourself and everyone else formally acknowledged including your parents, aunts and uncles etc. A couple of place trumps and of course the alley outside Bill’s Bar… Oh and Gerard’s friendship and how should we state this? Ah, yes familial expectations on duty etc.
If you choose to be of the Amberite blood and not formally acknowledged you don’t get Pattern, or trumps or anything else nice unless you pay for them. Oh and if Gerard finds out you will have hurt his feelings, a bit like playing chess with a Wookie really one feels.
If you choose shadow folk all is fine let me know.
Also a bit of blurb please, a paragraph or two on your character, I may even send out a questionnaire for your delectation prior to game.
All characters in prior to game please, ref decision to say no to something unworkable as usual.

Game 12/5: Escape From New York
GM: Michael W
Cast: 3-5
System: ADRPG
Description:
Its 10 years into the Reign of King Random and the Elders are still busy mopping up the left-overs from the Black Road War. The characters are young Amberites, being sent on a mission to put out one of those fires. The king has received information that a powerful artifact left over from the Black Road War was left in a particularly nasty shadow. It might be dangerous to leave it in a shadow so close to shadow earths the Elders have interests on.
The word is that the world is in the middle of an apocalypse and the item might be causing it. The governments of the world are barely recovered from the war itself and have only just started to realize that the war might not be any of the native nations fault but the truth is too bizarre for them to accept.
The item is located in a huge national prison where all the violent criminals of a world had been sent during the 20 years of the war. A federal police force surrounds the prison and just barely keeps the violence under control by keeping it within the walls. Can the young Amberites get the artifact off planet before the governments of the world lose control?
Characters:
Characters will have 80 pips to spend with Pattern free. They will also have an assigned Bodyguard, a signature artifact, and access to information from a variety of NPCs.
Players:
- Michael W (GM)
- Manny D
- Patrice T
- Ginger S
- Guy A

Game 12/6: Unicorn Academy 2: Unicorn Harder
GM: Jeremy Z
Cast: 3-6
System: Freeform
Description:
Thirty years ago, unusual spontaneous births occurred around the world at the same time. A small number of these children were adopted by Oberon Hickinbottom, a wealthy and mysterious recluse. These children soon manifested powers and were used by Hickinbottom to stop unusual threats against the Earth. As the children grew to adulthood, many pulled away from the toxic living situation to find their own lives.
In the wake of Hickinbottom’s death, the adopted children have reunited to continue the fight against existential threats.
Game will start in an ambiguous City in what is probably modern day Earth. Knowledge of someplace called Amber is not a thing.
Characters:
This game is loosely inspired by The Umbrella Academy, with an Amber-ish slant. This will be largely systemless game. Ideally I would like to get characters in advance to tailor the experience and so that players can sketch out shared experiences together before we begin play. It continues off of the game I ran at Ambercon 2022. Returning players are preferred but new players can join.
Each player character was born 30 years earlier, on the same day as all the other player characters. You will need to decide:
– What superhuman ability you have. This is more X-Men than Justice League in scale.
– How fast (if at all) you left this horrible living situation.
– What you have been doing for the intervening time since you left.
I plan on using Zoom for playing.

Now the Terran Empire is getting ready to launch it’s most advanced battleship ever: the ISS Excelsior. If intelligence is correct, it will be far more powerful than their current flagship, the Enterprise and herald the final subjugation of those would resist the cruel Terrans.
An elite team of Klingon and Cardassian operatives have been sent to the heart of the Terran Empire in one of the most advanced cloaked ships developed. Can they infiltrate one of the most secure shipyards of the Terran Empire and find a weakness to this new battleship before it is too late?

Game 13/1: Meanwhile… Into the Depths
GM: Rich D
Cast: 3-6
System: Meanwhile Stats
Description:
Your cousin Aiden is an infrequent visitor to Amber but is known as a master smith. He disappears for years into Shadow and returns with armor and weapons of unusual materials and designs. One can ask where he finds such marvelous materials but only the most optimistic or naive would expect a clear answer.
Lately, Aiden has been seen in Amber scouring through the library and bending the ears of greybeards and scholars. The rumor mill says he is asking about cities made of crystal and deciphering a strange language. Then, Aiden reaches out to you.
This scenario exists within the shared world of “”Meanwhile…””
It started a thousand years pre-Patternfall. Amber is at relative peace in many senses, and is the center of Reality.
There is an overall structure (derivative of West Marches or the 1632 series) in place, some of which will be shared as other GMs step up
Characters:
Returning players are encouraged to use their existing characters.
New players: Please send the answers to the following character Quiz
Character Quiz
How old is your character?
Who are your parents and what was your upbringing like?
How do you feel about your Oath to the Crown? About the King?
What do you think about the Pattern? About the Kingdom of Amber?
What does your official Trump look like?
Do you have any particular relations with any of Oberon’s children, good or bad?
Is there a place in Shadow you call your own and why?
What do you do on behalf of the Kingdom of Amber?
The mechanics of character creation will be provided separately, before the Con.

Game 13/3: Leverage International – The Music City Job
GM: Amber D
* I will be using @James A’s Key System for character creation and the running of the game. This is a very rules light system with a lot of adaptability.
* Think about which original Team Leverage member you’d like to have been the one that recruited you. If you aren’t familiar with them, let me know and I can help you figure it out.

Game 14/1 and 15/1: Do over! (Parts 1 and 2)
GM: Kevin D
Cast: 4-6
System: LoGaS/ADRPG
Description:
Someone up there must have ordered a do-over. You’d plans for the weekend… but they all went out of the window as the literal ‘end of the world’ happened. Zombie apocalypse? The dreaded plague? The great flood? Asteroids from outer? You get the picture. Something happened and your world collapsed.
Of course, somehow you survived. Care to find out what happened next?
Characters:
Ever wondered what a whole day dealing with me as a GM would be like? Well, now’s your chance to find out!
Your world has ended so, please tell me:
* What do you look like? Pictures are a requirement please.
* Who were you before it all ended? Your skills, outlook on life, who might be important to you, enemies, religion etc. A paragraph or two will do.
* What happened to your world to have wiped out (almost) everyone? A picture here too will help.
* What is your schtick? A special skill? Are you the fastest gun in the west? Able to meld into trees? The hottest thing since sliced bread? Is it something you’re known for or have you kept it hidden? And of course, you aren’t a one trick pony, so please pick two.
And that’s it.

Venice, one of the most painted, filmed and prosed about cities in the world, is beautiful. There is nothing that can prepare you for that first gaze upon the domes and towers that arise from the smooth, grey waters like a fata morgana.
On sunny days, when the water reflects the sun creating thousands of little magical lights, the city becomes vibrant and the atmosphere loaded with some kind of mystical energy.
During starry nights, the many alleys, stairs, bridges and squares become an enchanted maze in which even the most experienced cartographer will get lost without a guide.
This city will mesmerize you and stay with you. And every visit you wil be taken all over again by its beauty.
Next to its remarkable structure dating back to the age of Napoleon and its rich history, the city is also known for a world famous event; the Venetian Carnival.
The Venice Carnival is joy, seduction, transgression… in a word: freedom. From the city streets to Saint Mark’s Square to the majestic palaces overlooking the Grand Canal, the whole city is in celebration and will involve visitors in a unique experience. Every year the Carnival includes a series of public events such as the Flight of the Angel, Festa delle Marie, the water parade “festa veneziana sull’acqua” in cannaregio district, the svolo del leone and the contest of the best costume.

Game 15/4: Castle on the Boundary
GM: Rich D
Cast: 3-4
System: Amberway (Amber Powers/Everway mechanics)
Description:
“He must be captured or killed at all costs!” It all happened so fast that you aren’t exactly sure what has happened but every hand was called in to search the near shadows of Amber for a Chasoian diplomat that went rogue. You have been hell-riding for days to follow his twisted trail towards the Courts but if that is his goal then there is one place he must pass.
Between the poles of Order and Chaos grows a tree. It is a gnarled and ancient thing and no matter what route is taken, it is there at the point one crosses over. You come to a fog-filled, bowl shaped valley that smells of decay, pass the tree at the centre, and only then move on to resume your journey. To new travellers, it is welcome proof that they have navigated well. To seasoned travellers, it is a familiar ritual.
Today, you have walked down into that bowl shaped valley, and before you lies a castle. Like the tree, it is ancient with crumbling walls encased in creeping vines but the first floor not yet succumbing to nature’s grasp. Like the tree, every route brings you towards a postern gate in that wall.
It is hard to tell if you have beaten your quarry or if he is already within. Either way, it seems that the final reckoning will take place within the Castle on the Boundary.
Characters:
This game will be run with AmberWay rules (Amber world, Everway mechanics). Character creation instructions and a summary of the rules will be provided.
Players:
