Rates

The convention rates come in two flavours. The Early-Bird rate is available before the early Deadline! The Standard rate is available after this deadline. Please also note that there are a limited number of rooms available! (we currently have 16 double rooms and 10 single rooms provisionally booked), so getting in early is important!

• The Convention
  • Included in the Accommodation Rate:

    2 Nights’ Accommodation (Friday and Saturday), Breakfast (Saturday and Sunday), Convention Room Hire.

  • Included in the Non-Residential Rate:

    Convention Room Hire.

• Additional Meals
  • Breakfast is included for every night at the hotel.
  • All other meals are additional.
  • The hotel has both a bar and restaurant that can cater for your needs.
  • The hotel is also situated within walking distance of a number of other restaurants and is a short taxi ride into the centre of Belfast
  • I am looking to arrange a couple of evening meals together in restaurants outside the hotel. In previous years we’ve had a pizza evening and a Chinese. Details on this will be provided closer to the convention.

We have no additional prints available of older T-Shirts and the self-print designs have sadly expired.

Notes:

• Twin-Rooms

Twin rooms have two beds in them.  If you want to share a room with someone specific, please note who in your registration.   If you’d like to share but don’t know anyone, that’s OK.  I’ll pair folk who are also willing to share but do note that it’ll be on a first come, first served basis and I can’t promise someone to share with!

• Early-Bird Option

The Early-Bird option is provided as an encouragement to book and pay early.  Please make use of it!

• Extra Nights

If you wish to purchase an extra night or two at the hotel, please contact me about this as the hotel is offering us group rates! There are however cheaper hotels that you could also use, but this generally requires additional travel/bus/taxi costs and can tend to balance out the price/room cost at The Malone Hotel. Also note that the room cost includes breakfast and the venue hire cost which would still need to be covered. If you choose to book a hotel room elsewhere, please don’t forget to include your ‘Non-Resident’ fee.

• Special Rooms

If you wish to book a specific or special room, be aware that there may be additional costs dependant on the tier of the room you’re wishing to book. Please pass me on this information as soon as possible as rooms are often booked well in advance. I can then also find out the additional cost for the room in question. Do note that family rooms and so forth can be arranged though you’ll need to contact me directly.
